Czech Republic Ambassador bids farewell

The Ambassador of Czech Republic to Bhutan, H.E. Mr. Miloslav Stasek paid a farewell call on Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today.

Lyonchhoen congratulated the ambassador for successful completion of his tenure and thanked him for his constructive role in deepening relations between Bhutan and Czech Republic.

PM meets Ambassador of Fiji

Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay was called on by the Ambassador of Fiji to Bhutan, H.E. Mr. Yogesh Jitendra Karan at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang this afternoon.

Congratulating the ambassador on having presented his credentials to His Majesty the King earlier today, Lyonchhen conveyed that he looked forward to developing close relations with Fiji in the coming days.

Since the two countries shared several commonalities, Lyonchhen said that Bhutan could draw many lessons from Fiji for its successes in democracy and accomplishments in environmental conservation.

Ambassador Karan is the first ambassador of Fiji to Bhutan.

PM meets BBIN Transport Ministers

The transport ministers of Bangladesh, India and Nepal jointly called on Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay on the sidelines of the Meeting of BBIN Transport Ministers at Hotel Le Meridien in Thimphu today.

After exchanging pleasantries, Lyonchhen conveyed that despite very busy schedules, their presence in the country indicated the level of commitment, not just in facilitating transport but also regional integration between the four countries.
