Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay launched “Brand Bhutan”

Launching ‘Brand Bhutan’ this morning, the Prime Minister talked about the significance of recognizing and accepting Brand Bhutan, which he said, is not just about selling products but remaining true to Bhutanese ideals and inherent values.

Lyonchhen emphasized that Bhutan’s assets, cherished by its citizens and people from all over the world, is not only unique but continues to be very relevant today.

The Kingdom’s prolific and bountiful environment has been carefully nurtured and conserved over a century by the grace of our benevolent Kings. Our Kings have selflessly and steadfastly ensured that Bhutan’s limited resources were used effectively and efficiently.

Brand Bhutan, Lyonchhen said, expresses the Bhutanese way of life and shares Bhutan’s story with the rest of the world. It defines conscious economic growth balanced with all essential elements of our development philosophy of Gross National Happiness.

“Let’s use Brand Bhutan, not just to sell but to share and cherish our story.”
