The Counsellor/Head of Representation Office of Denmark in Bhutan Mr Henrik A Neilsen, who is returning home after completing his tenure in Bhutan, made a farewell call on Prime Minister Lyonchhen Jigmi Y Thinley at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today.

Lyonchhen congratulated Mr Neilsen for the successful completion of his tenure and thanked him for his support and cooperation in deepening relations between the two nations. Lyonchhen said that Denmark and Mr Neilsen’s involvement has been in so many key areas and stages of Bhutan’s development process.

Mr Neilsen, who came to Bhutan in September 2007, said that his tenure as the head of the office has certainly been a very fruitful experience. He said that he would, however, return to Bhutan soon in a different capacity.
