The Ambassador of Lithuania, Ethiopia, Albanian and Dominican Republic, all based in New Delhi, India are the second group of Ambassadors to come as part of Bhutan’s recent initiative known as the RGoB visitors’ programme. The first group of 12 Ambassadors called on the hon’ble Prime Minister a week ago.

Calling on the hon’ble Prime Minister Lyonchhen Jigmi Y Thinley in his office today afternoon, the Ambassadors said that they are all fully inspired by the country’s philosophy of GNH.
Lyonchhen welcomed the four Ambassadors and said that Bhutan will strengthen close relations with as many countries as possible. Lyonchhen also spoke on Bhutan’s April 2nd meeting in New York on Happiness, the upcoming Rio Summit and Bhutan’s development philosophy – GNH.
