His Excellency Fritz Neugebauer, Second President of the Austrian National Council called on the Senior Ministers and Minister of Works and Human Settlement, Lyonpo Yeshey Zimba today at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang.
Lyonpo Yeshey Zimba welcomed the delegation and thanked the Austrian Government for their reliable and considerable assistance to Bhutan for a very long time.

“Austria has contributed immensely in the past towards Bhutan’s socio-economic development. And we need you to remain with us for some more years,” Lyonpo told the Second President.
His Excellency Mr. Neugebauer who is on a four day visit to Bhutan is scheduled to visit the Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality, Basochhu Hydro Power Project, Austrian-Bhutanese Rural Electrification Project VI at Phobjikha and visit the early warning siren station in the old Wangduephodrang town. All these are projects funded by the Austrian Government.
