Launch of 15 Mobile Apps
One can now make appointments with Doctors of your preferred choice using the mobile app – Doctor’s Appointment; get information on the weather from Druk Namshay or learn Dzongkha – DDC Dictionary, Dzongkha for Kids and many more by downloading mobile apps from www.citizenservices.gov.bt
Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay launched 15 public service delivery mobile apps developed by the G2C Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in collaboration with concerned Ministries/Agencies, today morning at the Royal Banquet Hall.
Expressing happiness over the 15 mobile applications, Lyonchhen said that this would enable efficient public service delivery and will be helpful to the general public.
“Timely and quality public service is crucial,” Lyonchhen said and urged the line agencies to update the information as and when required.
Lyonchhen highlighted that the G2C office and the line agencies have worked hard to bring the mobile applications in the public domain, and requested the public to utilize it meaningfully.
The 15 mobile apps were also handed over to the respective focal agencies by the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
The development of the m-services is one of the major milestones for public service delivery initiative.
