Lyonchhen met with H.E. Puspa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister of Nepal

Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay met with H.E. Puspa Kamal Dahal, Prime Minister of Nepal and congratulated him on his election as the Prime Minister of Nepal by the Constituent Assembly in August 2016. Lyonchhen also wished the Prime Minister and his delegates “belated happy dashain” and shared that on the command of His Majesty the King,

Hindu Mandir for the Hindu Communities in Bhutan are being built. “One mandir has already been built in South and one is under construction in Thimphu” Lyonchhen added.


Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay’s visit to Australia 11th to 13th October 2016

Lyonchhen Tshering Togbay visited Australia from 11th to 13th October 2016 and is the first Prime Minister of Bhutan to visit Australia officially.

11th October 2016. Brisbane: Lyonchhen spoke at the International Water Authority (IWA) World Water Congress 2016. Lyonchhen also interacted with the Bhutanese studying and living in Brisbane and also in the evening Lyonchhen flew to Canberra and was received by the President and the members of the Australia Bhutan Association in Canberra (ABAC) at the airport.
